Malcolm Graduated fro the University of Westminster and then embarking on a journey with the advertising world for the next 10 years working with JWT, Ogilvy, Y&R and CD Advertising as an Art Director. But his passion has always been for film which lead him into a different path of film production starting with Straight Films in Malaysia as a producer.

His path then took him to Vietnam where he fell in love with the country and stayed on for 6 years working with big name production houses like Star Films, Shooting Gallery, Fatman Films and then started up Filmbase Asia. His growth in the industry was well noticed for doing quality TVC’s and Viral Films.

He then took a 8 month sabbatical from Vietnam to train under one of the best directors in the region, Mr. Barney Chua from Mojo Films Malaysia. He decided to return to Vietnam to finally opening up Laughing Buddha specializing in Viral, Digital Content and TV Commercials.
